Recent encounters: Wrecked shithouse! Hay spider! Hat!

There's been a bit of inactivity this week (barring the Cats post, but those have been scheduled since August) because I've been ill, knackered and busy. Still a bit under the weather but sod it, it's time to catch up with some photos, starting with this free-range shitter, which has ironically been absolutely shittered.

Heading up the 108 Steps yielded some sunflowers, noseying over the wall at the back of the church...

And a little look over Sparrow Park, just because I like this area, it's very pleasant, even on a dreary day.

A sign looking to reunite someone with their lost hat...

Now stepping things up a bit with this newly discovered cryptid - the hay spider! There's been quite a few of these about lately, one of them blew off in a strong wind before I could get a picture of it, but here's evidence. They're out there! Keep watching the... pavement, I suppose.

Also noticed this squirrel! Nearly wound up late for work because I was chillin' on a bench, reading the Fortean Times and just enjoying a rare moment of peace and quiet. Also, in my defence, there's a "TINY CROCODILE PANIC" mentioned on the cover; that's high priority knowledge!

Splish-splash, these pigeons are 'avin' a bath, outside a charity shop...

The threat of wet paint on the bollards...

Anyway, on that note, this batch of pictures is getting a bit out of hand, so the next lot can wait a bit. For now, I'll finish on this very mature and sophisticated note...

Continuing the time-honoured tradition of writing naughty words in condensation, and now, it's that time of year... arranging stocking filler gifts into filth - everyone does it! Some of us are just bold enough to own it!

Have a lovely weekend, everyone.
