Snow at the Mayfield Centre

More pictures for today, this time from January 2023, and granted, it's not exactly a valiant effort at snow but I'll take what I can get here.

The pond area was closed on this occasion, which is a shame. I really like that spot; there's a lovely little circle of benches covered over by the branches of the surrounding trees, and it's a really nice, quiet place to sit and chill for a bit.

Checking in with a couple of liminal spaces, the Gate to Nowhere was still there, and still doesn't lead anywhere. At time of writing, it's been a bit since I last visited it, so the status of the gate is currently ambiguous. (!!!)

And a little bit of Danes Moss there. One of the things I love about this area is the frayed transition between houses and wilderness. Just up the road from here, there's a little street that goes down for a bit, then just stops and gives out into scrubland, it's an absolute treasure.
